Once again I am raiding my mom's craft room. I spent the night with the boys at her house and learned a few more techniques. I send lots of notes to my son's teacher and thought it would be fun to make a few note cards. I was only able to get one done but I think it turned out really cute. I love the Peachy Keen stamps that my mom has and the August set is something I can use all the time.
I made a shaped notebook card with Cricut Craft Room. The Locker Talk cartridge has this cute notebook and it cuts all of the lines. The paper is called Core'dinations Whitewash and it's fun to work with. I used a sanding block to show the color core. The pencil is from the Peachy Keen August set. I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out. Then I added a Peachy Keen face and some pink, frosty glitter. The pencil tip is black Scribbles paint. The apple is from a Sizzix and I added another Peachy Keen face. The burlap ribbon and cord is from Liz's Paper Loft. I used a Brother P-touch label maker for the sentiment. My mom said she will be using it all the time now. Nice to know I was the one giving her a technique tip.
