I've been waiting for my order to arrive from My Creative Time before entering the current Designer Challenge because I really wanted to make this adorable little set for my granddaughter. She and her BFF are always exchanging little trinkets and I thought she'd enjoy having this for one of her little gifts. I have a package of muslin bags from Stampin' Up! and finally, after a year, I worked up the nerve to try stamping on one. Not the neatest job, but now I know what NOT to do next time. My Staz-On ink pad is a bit on the dry side and the stamped lines were light, so I went over them with a Stampin' Up Stampin' Write marker.
The card is a mini to accompany the little pouch.
All of the stamped images and sentiment are from the My Creative Time stamp/die set called Hey There Little Lady, which is one of the sets from the most recent release. So totally perfect, since my granddaughter, Bella, has been my Bella Bug since the day she was born. The doily is from the Bunch of Stitched Doilies Dies, which I'm almost certain was part of the previous release. LOVE that set! (I have a really cute project that I need to post, using some of the doily dies from that set). Added a few Doodlebug sequins, popped up the flowers, leaf and ladybug with Stampin' Dimensionals and added a touch of black Enamel Accents (by Ranger) to the bug's spots.
Oh boy...the sun was kicking today and I think I should have adjusted my camera settings :/ The colors are a tad bit darker in real life.
On the white petals, I used a Sakura Pen-Touch white opaque ink pen, but "primed" it a bit too much and it bled. Eventually got the hang of it, so hoping for better results next time.
I used the colors from the photo inspiration from the challenge:
